– 30 minutes later they had to answer factual recall questions. Both groups performed equally on recall questions.
– laptop users performed significantly worse on conceptual questions compared to handwritten note takers
– laptop users contained more words and more verbatim overlap with the lectures
-longhand note takers still beat the laptop note takers on recall one week later
